Amit Baidya, though Mumbai based, has a varied life experiences from studying in different part of the country to travelling to Europe, Middle East and Malaysia. It is the experiences of travel and life through these journeys that has influenced his work to quite an extent.
He is an architect from BIT, studied Film making from National Institute of Design, India.
His innate gift of art, design and photography reflects in his strong visuals be it capturing the realness of people and spaces or in beauty commercials.
The reel carries varied range of work from style- beauty, performance, documentary ,slice of life and food films. Directed commercials for clients across the globe, to name a few- Apple music, Google, Dyson, Ted Baker, Western Union, Bosch, Maxis Malaysia etc..
During his spare time, he likes playing with graphic designing, photography, cooking and doodling while some music plays in the background. Well, it has does wonders to his and his daughter’s mood.
