Jakub Dvorsky

After graduation on Prague Film Academy (FAMU) Jakub came straight away to advertising business. He started with low budget music videos, and slowly moved to higher level advertising, both on Czech as well as International market. He shot all around the world with many International crews and directors.

Jakub focus mainly on getting on a same mind level with director and help him achieve his idea. Lighting, composition, camera move. Most important tools, he can use to get the idea right. While making commercials, in past few years he also works on feature projects, where je is working as a 2nd Unit DoP and occasionally as Camera Operator. DoP’s work is a constatnt learning, and these experiences help him to deepen the knowledge.

His recent projects are Amazon’s TV series Carnival Row and Knightfall for History Channel.
